Brian Baird (CEO)

Brian has extensive experience in international sales and marketing in the I.T. Industry. In 2001 he was a founder of Meridio, the enterprise documents and record product company. As the CEO, he grew Meridio into a Microsoft Gold Partner company with 175 staff and over $20m annualized revenue. In November 2007 he led a trade sale of Meridio to Autonomy plc and left the company in May 2008 following a six month integration programme. Prior to founding Meridio, Brian spent 15 years with ICL, most recently as MD of ICL in Ireland. Brian was also a Non-Executive Director of Lagan Technologies – a global leader in Enterprise Case Management. Brian is also Chairman of Kelsius, a manufacturer of wireless sensor products and a SAAS-based central control portal.

Kyle has spent over sixteen years in the IT industry, as a specialist in complex, large scale government contract work. Working for industry leading companies such as Fujitsu, BT Global Services, HP, and EDS, Kyle orchestrated the setting up, recruiting and managing of successful Major Project teams in each, and as a result, he has a wealth of industry leadership experience. Over the years he has also built up considerable experience in dealing with a large number of product organizations and understands developing successful sales and marketing strategies for a dynamic I.T. market environment.
Paul Moorhead (VP, Engineering)

Paul has 25 years experience of software development in both the telecommunications and enterprise software sectors. As VP Product Development for Openwave Systems, Paul managed 220 employees across Belfast, US, Japan and India with a development spend of $10m pa and managed a product line with annual revenues of $135m. Previously he worked as Director of Product Engineering at Nortel Networks, with responsibility for a product which won the Queen’s Award for Industry in the Innovation category. He also worked with Brian at Meridio as SVP of Product Development. He is also a non-executive director at Omiino Ltd – a developer of specialised FPGA applications for telecommunications equipment vendors.
Fergus Wilson (CTO)

Fergus has over 20 years experience in the IT industry. Over that time he has worked for a number of companies including Kainos, Webforia, and most recently at Meridio alongside Brian and Paul. At Meridio, Fergus was original assigned the role of driving the product road-map and providing guidance on technical direction. He was instrumental in helping Meridio to build its technology exclusively on Microsoft technology and played a part in the early decision to build its records management functionality on top of the SharePoint platform. In 2004, Fergus relocated with Meridio to Redmond to work alongside the Microsoft product teams. Fergus formed a research team on the Microsoft campus, allowing them to work effectively alongside Microsoft engineers to build a product that would fit perfectly into the Microsoft environment. In late 2006, Fergus moved back to Northern Ireland, as Meridio’s Chief Architect, responsible for technical product vision and direction.
