Replify Syncstor is a small footprint PC client that provides uninterrupted access to remote content repositories (SharePoint, file shares etc) whether connected to a network or not. Users no longer have to wait for slow downloads and uploads to SharePoint and other content stores. After initially selecting content to synchronize, the user can read, edit and create freely, knowing that only a few moments of network connectivity now and then will be sufficient for any changes and additions to be synchronized with the source folders, and to receive the updates and additions of colleagues.
Without Syncstor, users will tend to copy down the content they need only once, and thereafter work locally creating their own independent versions, and failing to upload business critical documents to a safe location to meet compliance and other business imperatives. With Syncstor users can forget about the network and focus on doing their job, knowing that a few minutes of wi-fi or 3G each day will ensure that they have the latest designs, or policies, or pricing they need to do it right.
Replify Syncstor for Outlook provides very similar functionality but exposes the local store through Outlook folders. Users are already totally familiar with the idea of Outlook folders providing them with local access to content (mainly emails) within an email server, so this approach allows for very rapid adoption. In particular Syncstor for Outlook makes it easy to add emails by dragging and dropping, or through Outlook rules, and those emails will then be automatically synchronized back to a central store, whether it be SharePoint or another content system.
