Reptor™ Client
The Replify Reptor Client is a Windows installable service which is installed at all endpoints accessing the application server. This client will redirect all traffic aimed at the configured application server to the Virtual Appliance. The data sent over the WAN between the Client and the Virtual Appliance will be optimized.
The Client intercepts and optimizes application traffic for the configured application servers. The Client WOC may optimize traffic for one or several application servers simultaneously while working with one or more Reptor Virtual Appliances.
Changes to the Replify Reptor Clients optimization rules are controlled centrally by the Reptor Virtual Appliance. Once a change is made by the administrator on the machine at the datacentre, the rules are broadcast immediately to all connected client WOCs. Client WOCs which come online after these changes have been made will receive the updated rules as part of their initial sign in.
