Reptor Virtual Appliance

Reptor Virtual Appliances are installed in the datacenter, close to applications to be accelerated. VMware, Citrix XenServer and Microsoft Hyper-V are all supported platforms. A virtual appliance can accelerate more than one application, and multiple appliances can be combined for high-availability and load balancing.

Applications can be configured using the appliance’s web based management GUI (for small deployments) or using the Reptor Enterprise Manager (for larger, multi-appliance deployments). Real-time performance reporting shows current traffic. Historical data is passed to the Reptor Enterprise Manager for centralized reporting.

In the Branch Office

The Reptor Accelerator meets the requirement to manage fewer Branch Office Boxes such as Windows file servers and print servers. We enable server off load and server consolidation, byte level and object level caching through smart XDR, resulting in faster user response times, massive server off load, and a high availablity solution.

Where several users are located at a remote location it is a good idea to share caching resources. The Reptor Remote Appliance is a software component available as both a Virtual Appliance or Windows Service to do this.

This offers the same high level of real-time reporting as the Server Side Reptor Virtual Appliance and feeds statistics back to the Reptor Enterprise Manager for centralized reporting. Configuration is controlled centrally by the Reptor Enterprise Manager.

Reptor Client

Many mobile users experience poor application response times, costly roaming charges, and poor productivity. Replify solve this today with vastly improved application response time, and significant savings by taking bytes off the wire.

The Reptor Client is an easy to install Windows application, and is a required component on users’ machines. XP and Vista are both supported. Installation is straightforward and can be automated for a multi-system rollout. Headless deployment - where the user never sees even a tray icon - is also an option.

Reptor Enterprise Manager

The Reptor Enterprise Manager makes it easy to manage a large Reptor Accelerator deployment with many clients and appliances. Describe your Reptor Accelerator deployment using its intuitive web interface to automatically configure clients and appliances with the necessary rules to ensure optimal WAN performance. Define client groups in the Reptor Enterprise Manager to control client configuration and generate management reports and graphs.

Centralized Application Servers

While the applications that your business depends on every day work well over high speed LANs, they can be painfully slow over wide area connections.

Everyone has experienced the ‘wide area bottleneck’. Even with the latest broadband and 3G connections, applications often run slowly.
