Why Software?
Why not? The fact is that hardware-based WAN optimization is wasteful. More servers, more racks, more cooling, more energy, more waste, less flexibility.
Our Reptor Accelerator solution is a doddle… our server-side Reptor Virtual Appliance at one end and Microsoft Windows or Windows Mobile Reptor Client at the other and, hey presto, faster applications.
It really is that simple. At the client end, a simple interface allows the user to toggle the Reptor Client on and off. Switch it off and downloads will take forever, email will chug along, SAP will run at glacial speeds. Click it on and things, well, get done much, much faster.
