We’ve supported Hyper-V and XenServer for ages now, but we haven’t made virtual appliance images generally available for these two platforms. Rather, they’ve been available on request. Now, though, we’ve made a XenServer version of our latest Reptor appliance available for immediate download. We’ll make the Hyper-V version available shortly aswell.

We don’t really have opinions on whether Hyper-V or XenServer or VMware (or somebody else!) will win the hypervisor battle. The future is cloudy. But we want to support you, we will support whichever hypervisor you want to use. (Although you may have to tell us!)

(Right now, technically, we’re most fond of VMware, but really it doesn’t matter what we prefer, what matters is what you prefer! And people today overwhelmingly prefer VMware!)
