UKTI Workshop in India with Tata

Two Northern Ireland technology companies, SLA Mobile and Replify, are among 20 in the UK which have been selected to take part in a training programme aimed at developing business opportunities in India. SLA Mobile and Replify were judged to have products of most relevance to the Indian market by the organisers of the scheme, conglomerate Tata and UK Trade & Investment.

Management Training Centre in India will deliver a workshop in how to grow a small technology business in India in collaboration with Indian partners. It will include industry insights from relevant parts of the Tata group, as well as from other companies and organisations.

SLA Mobile was founded in 2003 and is based at the Northern Ireland Science Park. They help mobile operators engage their customers and monetise network assets.

Replify, located in Belfast city centre, employs around 15 people.  As you know, our WAN Optimization technology helps to speed up data transfer through phones and computers/

Product manager Rozy Corry said that the company is looking forward to going to India in October.

“India is a market we have been looking at developing so we were delighted to be shortlisted and selected to take part in the programme,” she said.

“We are now just finalising travel plans and are looking forward to the benefits that the programme could bring.”
