In part 3 of our recent video series, our CEO, Rozy Corry, covers the various optimization deployment scenarios that the Replify Accelerator can bring benefits to.
In each scenario, there are two key benefits the Replify Accelerator brings:
- Reducing the amount of data on the link
- Improving the user experience when retrieving data
The Replify Accelerator product consists of two main components: the Virtual Appliance and the Mobile Accelerator Client.
Replify’s solution is book ended. This means you will need at least one Virtual Appliance at your data centre or headquarters and a corresponding Virtual Appliance or Mobile Accelerator Client at the branch or remote end.
The diagram below shows a typical optimization deployment with a Replify Mobile Accelerator Client connected to a Virtual Appliance. This type of scenario is ideal for remote or home workers.

The following deployment is Virtual Appliance to Virtual Appliance. Each appliance can connect to or ‘peer to’ one or more other appliances.

The Replify Mobile Client Accelerator can be installed on end user devices such as tablets, PCs and mobile phones. Supported OSes are Windows, MacOS, Linux (Ubuntu) and Android.
The Replify Virtual Appliance can be deployed on the main hypervisors such as VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V and KVM, containers such as Docker and on Debian Linux. This means that we can also be deployed on most cloud platforms.
We also have a package for the Raspberry Pi and are happy to undertake services work to deploy on other platforms. For example, we’ve partners who have deployed Replify Accelerator on Red Hat Linux and on pfSense.
For larger deployments, we have the Replify Enterprise Manager which can be used to manage and report on multiple Virtual Appliances. also have an overall management user interface called the Enterprise Manager.
