After a busy few months at Replify, thoughts are now turning to the holiday season and a review of the year almost past. We’ll be busy again in the year ahead with version 8.3 of the Replify Accelerator expected in January, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
Network Security, SSE, ZTNA and Acceleration
We’ve spent a lot of time this year on the road, attending and exhibiting at many events from trade shows to seminars and summits. Security has continued to be one of the hottest topics, with SD-WAN now much more widely deployed and understood. While it’s been an unexpectedly slow burn over the last 12 months, ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) is still gaining traction. This looks to be a great gateway for organisations, especially SMEs to test the waters with a secure VPN replacement, before committing more widely to Zero Trust and other solutions in an SSE stack.
For many, wider adoption of ZTNA is a few years out. However, there is no doubt that it is coming. From Replify’s perspective, ensuring you have a ZTNA solution that makes optimal use of the network is important. While security is key for most, a solution that has acceleration gives your users the fastest application performance and keeps your network running efficiently. Remember, Replify Accelerator can be easily deployed alongside your Zero Trust solution. We’ve had feedback from customers this year who have added our acceleration to ZTNA and seen fantastic benefits.
SASE and SD-WAN Adoption
Acceleration and WAN optimisation continues to be a key element of SASE and SD-WAN deployments. While many of the big SASE/SD-WAN solutions have some form of optimization, most still lack the features that the Replify Accelerator offers. Our intelligent caching engine often delivers the most dramatic impact for users who are suffering with slow application performance, or with a congested network connection. Offloading over 90% of network traffic with Replify’s technology is a game changer for many of our customers.
This year we’ve also found an increased interest in our technology from those outside Europe and North America. With digital transformation reaching more of the globe, where infrastructure is still being built, delivering acceleration to these regions is of increasing importance. In many cases, Replify is deployed where providing reliable internet access is not possible, or too costly. We’re keen to increase our sales in Africa, Latin America and South-East Asia in the year ahead.
The trend for increased remote work sees no sign of slowing down in many countries outside Europe, in particular in India. A key benefit of the Replify Accelerator is our Mobile Client. This can be installed on the remote worker’s device to bring the acceleration to remote and hybrid workers. This speeds up their broadband, LTE or Satellite/Starlink connection without the need for costly hardware or infrastructure at the home or remote site.
Managed Service Providers
We’ve also been putting a lot of effort into working with Managed Service Providers to ensure that Replify Accelerator can deliver real value for them and their customers. In particular we made a lot of good connections at the MSP Global event in Spain this autumn which reinforced the fact that there are many regions where acceleration can make a significant improvement to user productivity when accessing cloud services. We’re also members of the CompTIA, and have attended a number of CompTIA events this year and made lots of great MSP contacts. We’re keen to grow our partner network in 2025, so get in touch if you’d like to know more and keep an eye on our blog to hear about upcoming events we’ll be attending in the year ahead.
Maritime Market
The maritime market for optimized connectivity continues to grow and we’ve seen increased interest in our solution this year in this market. When ships are offshore, their internet connectivity can be patchy and unreliable. Our customers have seen that adding Replify’s acceleration has sped up access to business applications, as well as reducing the amount of data sent on their satellite links. Typically the use cases are around accelerating ERP solutions, M365 applications and simply transferring data from ships to shore across satellite. You will likely see us at a maritime show in 2025 so watch this space. If you are from the maritime industry and want to know how we can improve connectivity on your fleet of ships then get in contact with us at contact@replify.com.
The Year Ahead
2025 looks to be another year of growth in the alphabet soup markets of SASE and Cybersecurity. We feel that ZTNA is a gateway to many of the other technologies and one that could drive wider adoption of SASE technology. With acceleration being a key part of it, we’re looking to promote our ability to accelerate those security deployments and allow MSPs to offer security without compromising performance.
We’ll be increasing our presence outside Europe, in particular in Latin America, Africa and South East Asia, with new partner relationships. We’re also continuing to improve the capabilities of the Replify Accelerator so that more businesses can benefit, on ever fast links.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to wish our customers and partners a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at Replify!
